Since a few months I have been thinking that doing a PhD could be a nice way to develop further my practice by researching in depth its contents and grounding its trajectory.
I perceive it as a possibility to intertwine the loose threads of my practice, would they be the researched subjects, the adopted mediums, the public and this way sharpen my position within the collective realm.

When I look backwards at my BA and MA thesis works a sort of vision emerges. In these last 2 years since graduation I explored new mediums to produce works and new ways to engage with the public; I experienced what working as a freelancer in the creative sector implies.
I feel that somehow all these digressions and experiments nurtured such a vision and I start to glimpse some projects emerging from it. I like to believe that doing a PhD could help me to make these tangible. But maybe I am wrong.
For this reason I am lately interviewing friends and professionals: to have a better understanding of what implies to embark such a path.
